One Last Try for Phantom & Saba 💚
We are reaching out one final time to try and find a home for Phantom and Saba 😢
Phantom and Saba are 5 years old and have been with us since November 2024, after arriving from Oman where they had been living as strays. They did briefly find a home, but sadly returned to us in February 2026 as it wasn’t the right match for them.
Since then, they have been waiting patiently for someone special to give them the chance they truly deserve 🥺
They are very shy cats who have had very limited human contact in their previous lives. Saba is the more nervous of the two, while Phantom is a little braver and will accept gentle strokes from people he trusts. They would need a patient, understanding home that will allow them the time they need to settle, it could take months for them to fully come out of their shells 🏠
We believe they could be happy in a quiet rural setting such as a stable, barn or farm environment, where they can have lots of space and the freedom to safely roam. This is really important for them, as they may not settle in a busy or confined home environment 🌱
Phantom and Saba have been waiting a long time, and we are running out of options. They are the last two of the Oman cats, and we are desperate to give them the life they deserve. If we cannot find them a suitable home, then the decision may have to be made to let them out to live on site at the rescue. However, this is far from ideal, as we already have a large number of cats here, and it could disrupt the balance of our resident cats and risk them not settling or staying with us 😿
If you feel you could offer Phantom and Saba the home they need, whether that is a patient indoor/outdoor home or a rural setting, please get in touch. Sharing this post could make all the difference for them. Visit our website to find out more - https://crrc.co.uk/animals/phantom-saba/
