The nfu are collating the impact of the SFI 2026 Shortfall. Member or not if you could fill out the form to help portray the full impact of the offer.

The SFI26 Window 2 application window closed less than six hours after opening on 22 September 2026 – the NFU responds to the rapid window closure, highlighting the urgent need for a budget that allows all farmers to fulfil their ambitions to deliver for the environment moving forward.

SFI 2026 - we know the shear lack of foresight on the demand for SFI 2026 is staggering. The NFU is collating information as soon as possible to respond on behalf of all members that have missed out.

We understand the financial burden of missing out will hit farmers in varying ways - a small ask is to make sure that we all pick up the phone to our friends and neighbours and talk about it.
