What a day!! 🥰🩷

We started the morning in Cracoe, catering for a naming day for a very special little one! The lovely parents booked me way back at the beginning of the year and chose our carvery buffet for 70 guests! 🥰

Then it was straight over to Linton with a finger buffet for 16, along with extra salads and homemade lasagnes!

Next up… our furthest delivery of the day, all the way to Leeds for a very special lady’s wedding! 💍🩷

My lovely Sally has been a repeat customer of mine for quite some time, and I was heartbroken when she told me she was moving to Leeds! 🤣 When she asked if it was too far for me to deliver her wedding buffet, there was only ever going to be one answer… Absolutely not! It would be an honour! 🥹🩷

And finally, finishing the day strong at Carlton Social Club, serving up slow-cooked pulled brisket in gravy and BBQ pulled pork butties for a lovely lady’s 80th birthday celebrations! 🎉

And tomorrow… yes, TOMORROW 🤣🤣

You’ll find us back in the Skipton Rugby Club kitchen, serving up players’ meals and keeping all the parents warm and well fed!

After how lovely our last Little Florists workshops were, we just had to do another one… and this time we’re going autumnal! 🎃🧡

Join myself and Hannah from HM Flowers on Wednesday 21st October at 5.30pm for a gorgeous little after-school treat before half term!

The children will make their very own mini floral pumpkin display with Hannah to take home 🎃🌸

And because we couldn’t leave the grown-ups out… while they’re busy creating, I’ll be putting together a cosy afternoon tea for the children AND an adult afternoon tea for you to take home and enjoy! 🥰🫖🍰

What a day! 🥰

3x buffets out this morning!

Our first delivery was to Handprints Nursery in Silsden with 3x platters!

Then a buffet for 10 to one of our regulars, followed by another buffet for 12 in Crosshills!

A steak night and a pudding box delivered to the lovely Hedgerow Luxury Glamping! 🥩🍰

Then it was time to get the lasagne Big Cook out on the road! 🚚

14 Big Cook deliveries made today, on top of all the buffet deliveries! 🥰

A huge thank you to my dad for taking a van load out for me! I’ve only just sat down after finishing my last deliveries!

Now it’s time for a brew and Celebrity Traitors! ☕️📺

Tomorrow I’m taking a full day off! 🥰 So all enquiries will be answered from Saturday at the earliest.

I’m trying my best to keep on top of admin alongside all the cooking and deliveries, so if I’ve missed your message, please do give me a little nudge! 🙂💕

27 diners fed this evening! 👩🏻‍🍳🥰

To start, we served up creamy mushroom soup with freshly baked bread! 🍞

Then onto the very popular slow-cooked brisket! Served with creamy mash, seasonal carrots and tenderstem broccoli, all finished off with a proper thick red w**e gravy made from those lovely meat juices! 🤤😍

Proper comfort food for an autumn evening! 🍂

A busy start to the week! 🥰

Corporate lunches delivered to our lovely regulars in Crosshills on Monday, Tuesday AND today! 🫶🏻

Then today we had the pleasure of catering for a new corporate customer in Skipton, who requested a British-themed buffet! 🇬🇧

On the menu we had…

🇬🇧 Pork & apple mini sausage rolls
🇬🇧 Mini Yorkshire puddings with roast beef
🇬🇧 Cheese & onion quiche
🇬🇧 Dinky pork pies served with piccalilli
🇬🇧 Sandwich platters
🇬🇧 Pudding platters

Absolutely loved putting this one together! 🥰

And we’re not finished yet…

Tonight I’m heading back to Haworth to serve up a lovely two-course meal for 27 guests!

A little bit of everything this week, just how I like it! 🩷

Happppy Birthday to my QUEEN! 👑💕🥳

Meet my mum! The woman who taught me pretty much everything I know! 🥰

When I was younger, I used to work for her in the café she managed. It was a busy, fast-paced café, and it’s where I learnt so much about catering, hard work and doing things properly!

And believe me, if something wasn’t right, we certainly knew about it! 🫣🤣 I have absolutely NO idea where I get that from! 😅

Looking back now, it’s funny how I’ve followed almost exactly in her footsteps. I went to catering college, married a butcher, raised a family and started doing outside catering on the side!

The only difference is that Mum always thought about taking that leap and doing catering full-time, whereas I actually went and did it!

Sometimes, especially on those really busy, difficult days, I wish I could go back to being that young girl in the café, with Mum telling me exactly what to do and how to do it. Because back then, she always had the answers! 🥹💕

But luckily for me, my unit is in the same town where she lives. And just when I’m least expecting it, she’ll turn up, roll her sleeves up and give me a hand.

Although, most of the time, she’s just there to tell me I’m doing exactly what she would do… or to tell me to STOP putting cucumber on my pastry items because she doesn’t like it! 🤣🤣🥒

I don’t think she’ll ever realise just how much of ART Catering has come from her. Not just the food, but the standards, the work ethic and the love for what we do.

So Happy Birthday, Mum! Thank you for teaching me everything you know, for always being there and for still keeping me right all these years later!
