Hopping on the grid to welcome our new followers! 🤗 If you’ve not been to us before, we’d love to welcome you. We are Steve and Jules, we’ve worked side by side in hospitality for 25+ years. 3 years ago, we walked away from the traditional restaurant model, and set up a long sharing table at our home in rural Somerset. We now open 3 days a week, and with no menu, we cook what we love, from homegrown and local produce, with recipes inspired by our travels. We serve dinner on Friday & Saturday, and lunch on Sunday. You can purchase any number of seats at our table, or take the whole thing exclusively! Oh, and we are always BYO 🍷 We have an acre of edimental garden 🌱 an orchard 🍎 pigs 🐷 a wild flower meadow 🌾 and indoor and outdoor dining spaces ☀️ Fancy joining our table, or planning a dinner party - find the link in our bio👆

A dreamy al fresco lunch for today’s guests! A last minute decision over morning coffee to decamp everything from the barn to the meadow!! Hope they enjoy 😉

A dreamy space - our new potting shed will be an integral part of our ever expanding kitchen garden. A place for us to sow, grow, and quietly contemplate the day ahead. We built it from scratch, it’s not quite finished, but it’s already our new favourite morning coffee spot. With views into the orchard, it’s a place to watch the sun rise and set, over Cadbury Castle and Corton Denham ridge.

When you ask us for a birthday cake! 🌺 All edible and hand picked whilst your guests are enjoying dinner - almost everything we grow here is edible, from flowers to fruit to herbs…..

Another beautiful spring day 💚 we’ve been filling the barn with homegrown tulips, hawthorn from our hedges, and cow parsley gathered on our morning walk, all on crisp white linen. Just need to light the candles and does ahead of our guests arriving….

Hello British Summer Time 🕰️ Looking forward to lighter evenings, early morning watering, harvesting crops, picking flowers, cutting meadows, feeding the pigs, and long leisurely lunches at new meadow table. Roll on summer, we can’t wait! ☀️

We couldn’t resist a quick snap yesterday at the place it all began.

We met 27 years ago during the opening of Bristol - and ever since, we’ve shared a love for good food, hospitality, events and guest experiences. Bristol will always hold a special place in our hearts! ♥️

Is he installing the roof or just sun bathing up there?! Perfect weather this week to get the meadow set up finished ahead of Easter Sunday when it will be put to the test with Harvey’s 21st birthday lunch! 🎈 This glorious weather has us outside, all day, every day - sowing seeds, cutting lawns, tidying the orchard, and tending to our ever expanding livestock! We still have space this Saturday night if you fancy joining our table for dinner 😜
