Just wanted to pass on our love to all concerned last night. I’d previously said I wasn’t expecting a great turnout but I’d be happy to be proved wrong.
And I was.
We had a full house. And despite the passionate support, there wasn’t a bad word to be heard (I know, I know we won!).
Our bar team coped admirably. Beers, wines and cocktails were poured, glasses removed and tables cleaned.
Thanks again to you all.
We go again on Tuesday night.

That's a wrap on a big week for us here at Lymestone Brewery.
Brad was away in Argentina with his Rugby mates and Andy was cruising in Norway! 🇦🇷🇳🇴

That left Hayden, Tom and I to man the fort. To say we were stretched thin would be an understatement! (Big thanks to John for helping out with a few deliveries!)

Highlights of this week were- we dismantled Trentham Rugby club's beer festival, set up Foxfield's beer festival, racked a few brews into casks, got the bar ready for a private tour, sent a few orders out of the door, I (Sarah) brewed for the first time in 6 years, while Hayden was needed elsewhere.

Towards the end of the week we got our gear together ahead of this year's Etruria Canal Fest taking place over this past weekend!

It has been a difficult yet rewarding week! 😀

I'll be honest, we've had a slow start to the year with trade, poor weather has been another factor impacting pub trade, therefore affecting our sales and we're simply not where we want to be compared to this time last year.

However, event season is starting to get going, with Stone Carnival taking place next weekend (we hope to see some of you there!)

If you've ordered from us over the phone or via our website this last week and you've not received your beer as quickly as usual, we want to thank you for your ongoing support and for bearing with us.

Soon the team will be reunited and business will resume as usual 🍻❤️

FREE BAGS!👜
bank holiday weekend is here and the weather is looking good!
Many of you will be clearing houses and gardens of the winters waste.
We have thousands of free bags and we want to share the love.
They are hessian sacks so are very durable, I even grow potatoes in mine!
Feel free to come to the brewery and take as many as you like FOR FREE! I will also chuck some down at the pub so ask at the bar! ☀️☀️☀️

FIFA World Cup!
I’m trying to gauge the interest in this year’s tournament and I’m specifically talking about the group stages at the moment.
Scotland. Being British I have a small amount of shortbread in my veins and I care about Scottish football but given the days and times of the Scotland fixtures I can’t see any of you wanting to come up to the brewery at 22.00 on a Wednesday and walk home at 1.00 on Thursday morning. At the moment I have no plans to screen the Scotland group games.
England. The England games are being played at a slightly more favourable times but with kickoffs at 21.00 and 22.00 I’m still not convinced we will have enough through the door to generate the atmosphere to make it worthwhile.
I need a show of hands which will form a legally binding contract. Failure to show up on the day will result in your home being repossessed.
