The Swan Garden in Llantwit have been very kindly growing veg for FoodShare for years now but they need some help! The amazing team of gardeners there are looking for people to help with watering through the summer months on an ad hoc basis. No experience needed so if you think you can spare a little time on warm summer evenings to help out please contact [email protected]. Thank you! 🌱🍅💦

Whether you are an occasional or frequent FoodShare customer, please help us by completing this short (anonymous if you wish) survey if you haven't already! Our FoodShare Pantry needs to secure funding to continue operating and as we develop the funding application we would really value input from the community.

FoodShare is a well-established community initiative that provides access to surplus food, protecting our environment while supporting local residents to access good and affordable food. We are now looking to support the project to transition into an independent, community-led organisation, which is vital to securing its future.

We are inviting all members of the local community to attend our drop in workshop event to answer a few questions and give your views. If you have 10 minutes to spare please come and see us at CF61 on Thursday evening, 26th March anytime between 7.15 - 8.30 pm.

All views welcome, this is your opportunity to help shape our future and to ensure that we do not lose this valuable service. Please feel free to share this post!

Huge thanks to for another amazing delivery! Beauty banks supply us with 'surplus' beauty and hygiene products which adds a wonderful range to our shelves and we are extremely grateful for their contributions to the work that we do.

Our lovely volunteer Sarah on the desk today welcoming our customers to the pantry in Llantwit. Another incredible week of helping to prevent more than 350kg of surplus food going to waste - thank you so much to all of our incredible volunteers and our customers! We will be open again in Llantwit next Thursday and in St Athan on the 25th Feb.
