We opened our doors this morning and honestly didn’t know what to expect… but WOW! You lot certainly showed up! 😍

A huge thank you to everyone who came down today. Whether you came for a browse, a chat, a treat, or just to make sure we were actually open 😂, we appreciate every single one of you.

Safe to say you’ve given us the best start we could’ve asked for, and we’re still smiling (even if we’re slightly exhausted! 😅).

For anyone who hasn’t visited yet, what are you waiting for?! 👀

See you all again tomorrow and thank you for all the love and support. It means the world to us! 🫶🏼❤️

T-minus 11 hours until we finally open our doors! 🎉

Before the madness begins and the coffee starts flowing, we just want to take a moment to say a HUGE thank you to the people who have made this possible.

After approximately 101 changes, a few minor meltdowns, and enough unexpected electrical work to power a small city, there is absolutely no way we’d be opening tomorrow without the incredible work of Jack, Ryan H, George and their ridiculously talented joinery skills, along with our amazing electrician Ryan.

When we say they’ve worked miracles, we’re not exaggerating. They’ve put up with every last-minute idea, problem, and “just one more thing…” we threw at them and somehow turned it all into reality.

It’s been a rollercoaster, but seeing it all come together has made every stressful moment worth it.

We honestly can’t wait to get back to doing what we do best and welcome you all through the doors again.

(Please be kind if we’re running purely on adrenaline and caffeine. 😂)

Well… if there’s one thing this journey has taught us, it’s that opening a new business is never as straightforward as it looks on Instagram. 😅

We know we’ve been saying “not long now” for what feels like forever, and trust us, nobody is more frustrated than we are! Unfortunately, we’ve been hit with setback after setback, and despite our best efforts, some things are simply out of our hands.

So, first of all, we’re sorry. We know you’re excited, we’ve seen your messages, we’ve heard the rumours, and we’ve lost count of how many times we’ve been asked, “When are you opening?” 😂

The good news? We are SO close. Like, can-almost-taste-it close. We just need a little more patience while we get over these final hurdles.

On a serious note, we can’t thank you enough for the support you’ve shown us while we’ve been navigating this crazy new adventure. Every like, share, comment, message, and word of encouragement has kept us going on the days when things haven’t quite gone to plan.

We promise we’re not keeping you waiting for fun (we’d much rather be open and welcoming you all in!). But we’d rather take a little extra time and get everything right than rush and fall short of what you deserve.

Thank you for sticking with us, cheering us on, and believing in us. You’re honestly the best part of this whole journey.

Keep hanging in there with us… opening day is coming VERY soon. And when it does, we’ll be celebrating harder than anyone. ❤️

We’re urgently looking for a reliable joiner/carpenter who can fit worktops and cupboards at our premises as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, our schedule has been knocked back and with our opening day fast approaching, we’re now under real pressure to get everything finished in time.

You might remember us from our trailer at Hardwick Social Club, but we’re pleased to announce we’ve finally put down some roots (and got ourselves a roof that doesn’t move).

We’re buzzing to get the doors open and see all your familiar faces again. The kettle’s nearly on, the shop’s taking shape, and it’s time to get the community back together where it belongs.

WE HAVE BEEN KEEPING A SECRET… 🤭🚨

And honestly… it’s been HARD.

After lots of scheming, dreaming, stressing, celebrating, and nearly exploding trying not to tell anyone… we can finally say it🗣️

TILLY THE TRAILER HAS BEEN SOLD… and GG’s is moving into a SHOP!!! 🏡✨🎉

YES. A REAL. ACTUAL. SHOP.

We know. We’re also slightly in shock.

From serving you out of our beloved little trailer to taking this massive next step 🪜 it feels completely surreal and we are SO excited for what’s coming. Bigger space, bigger plans, more room for all the good stuff (and less trying to fit our entire lives into Tilly 😅).

But seriously for a second 🫶🏼 none of this happens without YOU. Every order, every visit, every share, every recommendation, every queue in questionable weather… you’ve backed us from day one and we’ll never be able to properly explain how grateful we are.

You turned a little trailer dream into something bigger than we imagined and we honestly can’t wait to bring you along for this next chapter ❤️

Tilly will always be iconic… but GG’s got keys now 🔑😏
