Kate is one of those people everyone seems to know and love, and it’s not hard to see why.

On top of being the person behind the Stack Yard Café and Katering4u Kate is always supporting other traders, sharing what people are doing and quietly showing up for everyone around her.

We already knew her baking was good, but Street Food Friday at Barsham Brewery gave us a good excuse to stock up.

Our daughter ate the lemon cheesecake before we’d even bought hot food, and the gluten-free carrot cake lasted about five minutes after the picture was taken.

This post just felt like a good excuse to say it properly:

Kate, you’re bloody lovely, and I don’t think you get told that enough.

Turns out UFOs pair surprisingly well with beer, comedy and good conversation.

Brilliant to meet James Dowdeswell at Barsham Brewery, get our copy of The Pub Manifesto signed and spend a bit of time talking about two subjects very close to our hearts: food and beer.

10/10 human. Excellent evening.

Barsham, keep doing whatever it is you’re doing.
