🚨 THE NOT-SO-SMOOTH CRIMINAL! 🚨
We are genuinely shocked and disappointed by this individual’s behaviour. Not only do we have CCTV footage of a suspected theft from our store, but the individual appears to be wearing his own company uniform! 🤯
What makes this even more disappointing is that he appears to be a fellow local business owner — someone who, of all people, should understand the hard work, financial pressures and responsibilities involved in running a business.
It appears he works for or owns a plumbing and gas company. When your work involves entering people’s homes, trust is everything. Would you trust someone in your home if you had concerns about their honesty? 🏠🤔
We have bills to pay, staff wages to cover and a business to maintain. It is incredibly frustrating that some people believe they can simply walk into a shop and take whatever they please without paying.
As business owners, we should be supporting one another, not taking advantage of each other.
📹 Our CCTV systems are in place for a reason, and we take every suspected theft seriously.
If anyone has information regarding this incident, please contact us privately rather than posting names or accusations publicly.
We hope that highlighting incidents like this will act as a deterrent and help reduce the number of thefts taking place across our stores.
We work hard for our business, and we will continue doing everything we can to protect it, our staff and our customers.
