Established in 1790 by John Ross and located on the banks of the Dornoch Firth in Edderton, near Tain, Balblair is one of the oldest working distilleries in Scotland & the oldest in the Highlands. Every cask is sampled, judged and selected by Distillery Manager John MacDonald to find its optimum maturation point. The point at which each Vintage says it’s ready.
