🍓 Why do we grow our strawberries on tabletops? 🍓

It is a question we get asked regularly. Back in 1998, we moved away from growing strawberries on the ground and introduced tabletop growing systems. This wasn't just about innovation - it was about making strawberry picking easier and more enjoyable for everyone - including those little ones!

Our tabletop strawberries are more accessible, reducing the need for bending and kneeling, while also helping us produce cleaner, higher-quality fruit. The elevated growing system improves airflow around the plants and keeps the berries away from soil, helping them stay in excellent condition.

Every decision we make on the farm is carefully considered - from how we grow our fruit to how we welcome visitors. A lot of planning goes on behind the scenes to ensure you have the best possible picking experience and can enjoy delicious, fresh strawberries throughout the season.

Made with fresh farm raspberries, cream and Gayton's meringue, it's the perfect addition to our famous Hero Dubai Strawberries that everyone loves which can both be found at Pippins Picnic Hut.
