🐑Lambing 2026🐑
We can finally look back on this years lambing season (it’s gone on forever!) The lambing bit was the easy part! 🥴 It was fair to say the weather was tough but the lambs are out the other side and we are so pleased of how they’ve coped and grown! It’s our first year of breeding our own replacements and we are really proud of what we’ve got to retain in our flock. The season was slightly strung out this year due to empties going back to the rams but we’ve got some really decent lambs out of it so worked well in the end.

⭐️2025 Recap⭐️
What a year we have had! A year that has set us up for hopefully a successful future! We have learnt lots and have already started expanding the flock ready for next year. We are so proud of what we have achieved and can’t wait for what the future has in store! Watch this space for 2026!

Scanning day for the Dorsets. Thank you Rabjohns Sheep Scanning for doing an excellent job! They scanned at a lower percentage than we would have liked but considering the weather and lack of grass back in August it’s not surprising!

💙A moment for the boys 💙
Hydes Hudson, Hydes Heirloom and Sandy Lane Hendricks, our purchases from Mayfair. They certainly got on with the job but scanning at the end of the month will reveal how successful! 🤞

Busy day for the girls today! Cidrs in, allocations made and a fresh field (the greenest one we’ve have 🥴). Luckily they were very well behaved walking past the wheat fields to the race! Thank goodness they are bucket trained 🫠 12 days and the boys can do their job!
