In 1973 David’s eldest son Trevor fell ill and was taken to various doctors and all attempts to tre

at him with medications failed. He was later taken to a Chinese doctor in Santa Cruz, St. Elizabeth who diagnosed the sixteen (16) years old boy with a chronic heart condition and the doctor prescribed watercress to be included in his diet. The watercress was harvested and made into a drink which Trevor consumed every other day for two (2) weeks. When Trevor revisited the doctor some months later it was revealed that he had fully recovered from his illness. Over forty years have now passed and Trevor continues to live a healthy and happy life. This experience prompted Joscelyn President and CEO of Benji to extract the juice and sell it to residents in St. The feedback on the product has been overwhelming so the decision was made to move this business to the next level of operation.
