And to think I nearly didn’t go!
Totally exhilarating, totally nerve wracking & totally worth it!

The team found me through my social media page, the email came in on a Friday night, would I like to join them live the next morning.

I genuinely felt pretty burnout off the back of doing a crowdfunding campaign to launch our clarity herbal tea blend and I almost said, no thanks, I’m too tired to travel to London, work on a Saturday and for what? A 3 second clip on TV!

But decided, I should give it a try, then the nerves set in!
What actually happened was a live tea tasting segment, a chance to share my story and the story of the brand and talk all about my recent crowdfunding campaign.

The team were so lovely and made me feel so welcome.
But the bit I DID NOT expect was that people were actually watching or that they might want to order my tea blends as a result.

Which as I write this sounds pretty daft really.

But that 7 minute segment gave me 2115 visitors to the website, a 359% increase in sales for the day, hundreds of new followers and a boost of confidence that was very welcomed. I couldn’t believe it.

But the best bit some of those customers who purchased came back time and time again and many of them left amazing reviews and subscribed to my herbal tea blends.

So I’m so grateful for the opportunity and it taught me, that’s it’s always worth trying something new, even when you feel exhausted, cos it just might have a great impact.

Love to you all 💕

Who knew anxiety in midlife was a thing?

It took me by surprise, I’d wake in the night feeling like I was having a panic attack and my nervous system would feel on edge for hours after.

I found aromas from candles and hand sprays really soothing and so when I was creating a herbal tea blend to help bring calm on my body I knew the aroma and ritual of this tea was going to be very important.

I wish I could send the aroma down the screen to you, it’s simply intoxicating 💕

She’s our most popular herbal tea blend and gets the most amazing reviews.

Share this with a friend you know needs a hug in a mug right now xx

Yes yes yes 🙌🏻 today’s Tea & Trails was epic 🥳

I honestly can’t get over how much I LOVE hosting these walks for women.

So many amazing women with amazing stories to share. So many women just trying to find our way in life. Build friendships, carve time for ourselves, and taking away all the daily grind just to get out there & do something for ourselves 🥹

It was interesting today how many conversations I had about loneliness. Women who have grown children or work all day at home on their own or navigating divorces, second chapters, aging parents. This was exactly what we all needed, to surround ourselves with connection and conversations 🥰

The added bonus that I get to share my tea with them 🫖💕 Today’s feature blend was the hydrate blend, a perfect natural electrolyte with the blend really helped restore us all after the hike.

Thank you to the ladies who joined us.

If you wanna come to the next one, comment WALK & I’ll send you the link 🔗

And don’t worry if you’re not local, tea & trails is coming on tour! Peak District we’re coming for ya 🙌🏻

Special thanks to for serving 30 women a much needed cuppa while we explored &

Welcome, welcome, come on in 🥰

I launched Mother Cuppa 3 years ago, it’s been such a joy to welcome women into my little space on the internet 💕

I started blending herbal tea 20 years ago following a journey I have experienced with endometriosis.

Medicinal plants have brought huge comfort into my life and allowed me to navigate day to day life with a sense of control over my health and wellbeing.

At 38 I was told I was in early menopause and this was the push I needed to start sharing the blends I have created with women just like me.

My herbal tea blends won’t solve all of your life problems 😅 but they will offer you a small dose of health into your day.

🫖 Energise blend for a caffeine free kick start to the day. With hormone balancing ingredients.

🫖 hydrate blend for the women who simply don’t drink enough, hydration for your hormone health is so important to ensure the body is functioning well.

🫖 Relax blend for us ladies who just need a moment to ourselves, with natural anxiolytics & natural sedatives, this blend is not designed to knock you out (sorry ladies!) this is to really nourish your nervous system.

🫖 Clarity, our newest blend designed to support mental rejuvenation and combat brain fog, this blend uses nootropic plants to increase blood flow to the brain & make things a little sharper.

I’d love to get to know you, pop a comment below & let me know which blend you’re drawn to the most 💕

Be careful what you see on social media…

I don’t know who needs to hear this today, but life is rarely what you see in the finished post.

The award.
The sold-out event.
The growing business.
The smiling photo.

What you don’t see is everything that happened before it.

The self-doubt.
The admin.
The financial stress.
The mistakes.
The near burnouts.
The days where you wonder if any of it is working.

I’ve spent years building businesses and I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve looked at someone else’s success and thought:

“They’ve got it all figured out.”

Then you speak to them and realise they’re worrying about exactly the same things you are.

Most achievements have a backstory.

Most successful businesses have had cash flow worries.

Most confident people have battled self-doubt.

Most strong people have wanted to quit.

Most “overnight successes” took years.

So if you’re scrolling today and comparing your messy middle to somebody else’s highlight reel, just remember…

You’re not seeing the whole story.

And neither are they.

❤️

What’s something you’ve achieved that people didn’t see the struggle behind?

Yes yes yes 🙌🏻🙌🏻 This is what is feels like to host my Tea & Trails walks for women 💕💕

Over 40 women booked on to join us this week 🥳 and the sun shone for us 🌞

Tea & Trails are free walks (& tea) for any women to join hosted across Herts, Beds Bucks.

You don’t need to be a hiker, you can come on your own, bring a friend and just enjoy amazing company and a great cuppa at the end 🫖🥾💕

I wish more women took their hydration goals as seriously as their protein targets.

Don’t get me wrong, protein matters.

But, one of the biggest changes I’ve made to my own wellbeing wasn’t eating more protein.

It was drinking more.

As women in midlife, we spend so much time talking about hormones, supplements, protein, fibre, strength training and sleep.

Yet dehydration can contribute to symptoms that many of us are already struggling with:

💧 Fatigue
💧 Brain fog
💧 Headaches
💧 Poor concentration
💧 Dry skin
💧 Low energy

Research has shown that even mild dehydration can affect attention, concentration and cognitive performance. In one study, researchers found that dehydrated participants performed worse on tasks requiring sustained attention. Around 30–40% of participants were dehydrated during normal daily life.

What really surprised me was learning that as we age, our sense of thirst naturally becomes less reliable. In other words, by the time many of us feel thirsty, we’ve often already gone too long without a drink.

When I was navigating endometriosis, surgical menopause and later perimenopause, I noticed something interesting.

The days I was properly hydrated, I generally felt better.

These days, before I worry about optimising anything, I ask myself a much simpler question:

“Have I actually drunk enough today?”

Because sometimes the foundations matter more than the fancy stuff.

Tell me….

What’s harder for you right now?

🥩 Hitting your protein target
or

My go-to daily blend… Hydrate 💦🫖

When it comes to hormone health and wellbeing, the internet is full of advice.

Eat more protein.
Increase your fibre.
Lift weights.
Get outside.
Take supplements.

And whilst all of those things can be helpful, I think one of the simplest things we can do often gets overlooked…

Drink more.

I know it sounds almost too simple.

But staying hydrated can have a huge impact on how we feel day to day. Energy levels, concentration, skin health, headaches, brain fog, hot flushes and even mood can all be affected by hydration.

That’s exactly why I created Hydrate.

A naturally caffeine-free blend designed to support your hydration throughout the day and make reaching for another cup feel like a treat, not a chore.

It’s become part of my daily routine and one of the blends I reach for most often.

Have a read through the carousel to discover why so many women love it 💙

And if you’d like to know more, comment HYDRATE below and I’ll send the details straight to your inbox.

I wish more women knew how important hydration is for hormone health 💦

I’m so guilty of searching for high protein recipes, high fibre, food for hormones etc but actually hydration is one of our secret power tools and we simply forget its importance 🫖

Most of us think hydration just means “drink more water”.

But hormones can affect:

- fluid balance
- temperature regulation
- energy
- mineral balance
- how our body actually HOLDS hydration

Which means dehydration can quietly make symptoms feel so much worse.

For me, dehydration can make things feel even harder:

- headaches
- overheating
- fatigue
- brain fog
- dizziness
- dry skin
- energy crashes

That’s actually one of the reasons I created my Hydrate herbal tea blend ☕️

I wanted something comforting and supportive that helped women nourish themselves in a gentler way.

I’m really curious…

Did YOU know hydration could affect hormone symptoms like this?

Or is this the first time you’ve heard someone talk about it?
