Jessie was in her element today — head down, happily working away at the mineral lick. When she finally looked up, her muzzle was covered in a rosy tint that made her look like she’d just tried on lipstick for the first time.

She stood there, proud as ever, with that little smudge of colour giving her an extra spark of personality. It’s hard not to laugh — Jessie doesn’t just eat the lick, she wears it like she’s ready for a photo shoot. 💋 😂

The littlest one has also been working hard 💪🐴

Well done Eva! 🫶

So proud of the work ethic these girls have determined to take the responsibility to look after their ponies and the skills Eva is learning from her big sister.

Pony girls are the best 🫶🐴

Cara is a pro now at looking after Poppy and is definitely a lot better at making videos than me!!

We are so proud of how hard she works and the love and care she puts into looking after her animals. I wasn’t even home when she made this 🥰

Keep being you Cara we love you loads!!

If you have any good dead or alive videos feel free to share below 👇

Would anyone be able to recommend a Livestock Haulier to take 2 ewes down to Falkirk for me.

Two Blue Texel Registered Ewe lambs still looking for new postcode.

Both sired by Saltire Blue Han Solo. The one with the darker faces dam is Ettrick Flora.

Both cracking lambs, good size and muscle.

One in particular is very friendly, her mum was our show sheep winning 4th place at New Deer show and think she will also make a great show prospect.

Pm to arrange viewing or for more info.

Eva had some friends sleepover for her birthday at the weekend and loved taking them up to give Dennis some treats. 🍎🥕

Hes starting to come round again after a few weeks where be didn’t want caught or handled.

I think he had started to become nervous as after coming to us he needed to be vaccinated 💉(the initial one plus the booster) and needed microchipped for his passport 📕and I had also had a good few attempts at fly spray 🪰 and hes seen the farrier. Needless to say I certainly have not been the favourite lately.

We have all been going out and spending some time with him, giving him a little food or treats and I finally got a breakthrough the other day when he discovered he actually likes a bum scratch 🍑

(Eva is definitely his favourite human though!)

So the other weekend we had our first Park4night customers stay over 😀

They arrived in the evening just in time for checking and feeding the ponies.

Eva asked if they wanted to come and help feed and meet her Shetland pony Dennis. She was super good and took the lead showing them how to make up his feed and how to feed him treats and stroke him etc.

Before they left the lovely family came to the door the next morning and gave her £10, she was thrilled!! (And very quickly spent it in Tesco lol)
