Busy day today - haircuts all round for our greyface dartmoor flock.
They are sheared twice a year by the wonderful Barney and family (we have tried ourselves and it’s not a job for an amatuer!

Is there anything cuter than a Shetland pony in pyjamas! We had a rare afternoon away yesterday in the bright sunshine only to find the animals had been in a hailstorm!! Nothing like the great British weather eh!

That’s the samples from the sheep and goats of to the lovely people at Westgate Labs for testing 💩
We regularly send these samples for analysis as it helps reduce resistance to wormers… which is a huge issue for equine and livestock.
It’s better for the animals, the land and also the pocket!
