This week we rented some kids party plates, cups, bowls, jugs and cutlery from Library of Things. For a small price I got to use these, wash them and give them back rather than:

A) buy loads of paper plates, cups, cutlery etc, all of which would not only cost me but likely get thrown away to landfill.
Or
B) buy plastic plates and then have to find somewhere to store them for the next year.

They have loads of items that you might find useful. So rather than head to the shops, head to their website and take a look first!

Laundry - a thousand loads a week doesn't seem to cut it. Or if you've been productive and done the washing then there is still the folding and (officially the worst bit) the putting away - snooze!

Sunday is the day to get this done. Stick a film on for a bit of calm in the day or do it with music and get the clothes folded and put away.

Many hands make light work, so try and get all able people in your home to put their own stuff away.

(You may have noticed I missed off ironing as I gave this up for the most part during 2020 but if this is your bag, Sunday is a great day for this too!)
