🥓✨ Ever thought about curing your own bacon at home? It’s easier (and more satisfying) than you think.

Start with a good cut of pork belly, then rub it down with a simple mix of curing salt, sugar, and your favourite spices—black pepper, garlic, maybe even a touch of maple, honey or molasses. Let it cure in the fridge for about a week, flipping it daily so all that flavour soaks in evenly.

Once it’s ready, rinse, dry, smoke it to perfection if you wish and then slice it ready for cooking. The result? Rich, smoky, melt-in-your-mouth bacon made exactly the way you like it.
