SURPRISE!!!

On the morning of Sept 4th we had a surprise birth!!
We were not expecting any more cria this year so it was a shock when I saw Kelowna with her tail up and a little nose emerging! Kelowna had a little girl. Delivery was normal but baby was quite small and the next day a cloudy eye developed. Baby has been treated, is feeding very well and gaining weight, mum is doing well. We had all the girls scanned after matings in 2025 but this little one went undetected!

Love this time of day, the cria are always full of beans, this is Boston watching Hawk across the field, they have both just fed from mum and now preparing for some zoomies playtime!!

Meet Boston!!!

He was busy in the womb and is now just as busy living life!! So much energy and check out that blob of brown on his tail, how cute is that??

Hawk is so happy to have a playmate, lots of playtime with these boys, I am sure there will be plenty of photos to post!!

Meet Hawk!

Our wonderful mum Kiki delivered a perfect little boy who we have named Hawk ( Rosebud Hawk Feather ) after the Harris Hawk which is native to Peru.

We are so incredibly proud of our herd's prize winning fleece & genetics, we have always worked very hard to maintain a good breeding programme & this little one is a stunner already!

Unfortunately we are in the midst of a drought and the threat of blue tongue so we are vaccinating and monitoring everyone, especially our new mums & babies.

This is a very pregnant Kiki, watching the sunset at 346 days gestation and looking ready to pop!

Kiki gave us the absolutely gorgeous Keanu last year so we are very excited to see who she welcomes into the world this time!
