The Story behind our Brewery

Like most places around the world, people used to drink really local beer — crafted in one of the many brewhouses of our area. After a century of decline, we set off on a mission in early 2011 to get people drinking proper beer again. And while we were at it, create a great independent business that will hopefully grow and create jobs and wealth in our community. We b

ought a beautiful copper brew plant, breathed new life into an old industrial unit and got to work making the very best crafted ales. Proper beers, crafted locally with the best hops, finest malts and tastiest flavours. We don’t take shortcuts. Each brew is given plenty of time and passion. There’s no point rushing something so important. This is how we have won so many industry recognised Awards and have so many fantastic supporters, constantly bringing us doses of inspiration and appreciation. 🎉 GREY TREES BREWERY TURNS 13

Join us on Saturday 20th June at Brewery HQ as we celebrate 13 years of brewing, and plenty of unforgettable moments along the way.

❤️ We’re incredibly grateful for the support shown to us over the years, so now it’s time to party.

🎶 Live music from 12:30pm until
9:30pm.

🧡 Entry fee is a minimum of £5, with 100% of proceeds going to Bigmoose, a charity that means a great deal to many of us. We hope to raise not only some funds, but awareness for the fantastic work they do.

As for the weather… our order hasn’t been confirmed yet, but we’re optimistic.. ☀️
