Did anyone see the v**e (cigarette ) shop in Corbets Tey Road was raided by police again this is the second time but last time it opened up again the next day is that right allowing them to just flaunt the law !!!

As the summer holidays start the high street becomes a little quieter but all the local independent shops still have to survive. We all try to think of different things that might encourage people to come in but at the end of the day it’s YOU ! who decides. Please just pop in to your local shops even if you have never been in before talk to the owners and workers they are professionals in their field, and may suggest something that you had never thought of ! Or give you a leaflet on how to cook the products they are selling you never know you might end up one of our regulars ! it is the future of our town

Here at Fishy Business run by Terry Murphy has been supplying Upminster with fresh and frozen fish for over 33 years, not only to the customers of Upminster but to many restaurants over that time. It is independently run as are a few shops in Upminster still and they still need you to buy their products. As we go into the holiday season these independent shops need you to get them through this quiet time, so please even if you spend a few quid in a shop it helps, and it just keeps it local and the money stays in the community, which helps everyone
