Thank you to everyone who has donated towards lovely Rheas veterinary care.
Last Thursday her bloods showed her levels had unfortunately crept down again and that she wasn't regenerating new red blood cells which is concerning. On Wednesday they were checked again and they'd come down again. Her PCV now at 14. As she isn't responding to medication and not regenerating red blood cells, Rhea was referred to the RVC at Potters Bar yesterday.
After a long chat with the team there, Rhea was admitted to try to get to the root cause of this anemia. We do know there could be something sinister going on but it could also be something that hopefully can be managed.
Rhea has had a stable night and is comfortable. She will be having a CT scan today and we'll be updated later.
If you would like to donate towards Rheas care the link to her gofundme page is in the comments.
Will also add the link to our link tree for those reading this on Instagram which can be found in our bio.
Thank you and keep everything crossed for Rhea 🤞🏻🐾
