This was the first inspection of the new season after the long winter.
Our hives are growing very nicely into the Spring and ready to start producing lots of delicious honey! They’re literally buzzing with excitement!
Soft-set Spring honey comes first in June and then golden runny honey in August - can’t wait!

Spring is springing! Warmer and longer days around the corner.
This means our honeybees are becoming more active, growing stronger and getting ready for the nectar flow as more blossom emerges - blackthorn, willow, poplar, almond (in our garden!) among others. Emerging early flowers too such as hellebore, fritillary and primula.
