From the workbench to the birthday table 🔨💙

This one was all about the tools! 🛠️

Three layers of lemon sponge, filled with white chocolate ganache and lemon curd, covered in denim-blue white chocolate ganache and finished with a handmade fondant tool belt and plenty of tools to match.

I really enjoyed bringing this one together and turning all those little ideas into edible details. From the tool belt and pockets to the individual tools, there was plenty to get stuck into!

15 years ago we started this journey together, and I don't think either of us could have imagined where life would take us.

We've shared so many incredible memories, faced plenty of challenges, laughed more times than I can count, and built a life I'm so proud of. The biggest part of that journey has been becoming parents to our two amazing boys, Ronnie and Myles, who make every day an adventure.

We've also had Yoki and Leela by our side through so much of it all, making our family feel complete from the very beginning.

Thank you for 15 amazing years, Stacey. Here's to everything we've shared, everything we've achieved together, and all the memories still waiting to be made. ❤️

I won't lie... tonight, the laptop isn't coming out. 🎮🥤

I've got so many ideas for Friday Bakes. I want to update the website, add my corporate events, film some new pinned videos, create better content... the list just keeps growing.

But today has been one of those days.

School runs, food shop, looking after Myles, making dinner, taking Ronnie to Beavers, staying there for the session, coming home, bedtime... and by the time I've finally sat down it's 8pm.

Right now, all I want to do is grab a drink, pick up the Xbox controller and switch off for a couple of hours.

A few months ago I'd probably have felt guilty about that, but I'm learning that it's okay. Rest isn't being lazy. Sometimes you need to recharge before you can give your best again.

Tomorrow's my day off, so I'll get stuck into everything that needs doing and get ready for the weekend's parties. But tonight, I'm choosing to relax, and I'm not going to feel bad about it.

If you've had one of those days too, don't beat yourself up. The to-do list will still be there tomorrow. 💙
