The Little Holding Welcome to The Little Holding, a small holding in Wedmore celebrating seasonal produce, hosting intimate dining experiences and no-dig vegetable growing.

We are Grace and Ryan, we bought a multi-generational small holding in Somerset with an aim to live the old school good life. As seen on BBC’s Somerset episode of Escape To The Country

Think organic home-grown veg in our no dig raised beds, too much DIY, cooking outside over the fire and most importantly, making the most of time with family and friends. Join us on our adventure by following this page!

Starting a new business is scary but all of your lovely messages sure do help. We’ve even been sent cards and emails, it really does mean a lot!

Our whole entire business is built on our passion for food. Other than one or two ingredients every single vegetable, fruit or herb is grown by Grace in the vegetable garden and cooked into one of seven courses by Ryan.

Hopefully along with the help of Henry (Grace’s brother) who serves you and Katy (Grace’s mum) who makes all our crockery on site, you can see the love we’ve put into these evenings.

We care so deeply for the ingredients, the food, the flowers and most importantly bringing people together around a table to enjoy it all with us.

Tickets are now live for our Saturday 22nd August Supper Club at our small holding in Wedmore

Join us for a shared dining experience celebrating seasonal, local ingredients and set within the very place most of the ingredients are harvested - The Little Holding.

You will be greeted with a complimentary welcome drink and a small walk around the vegetable garden before sitting down for a minimum of 5 courses showcasing the freshest ingredients we have to offer.

£70pp, Drinks are BYO, no corkage, we of course will provide glassware, ice, still water & sparkling.

We are very excited to put tickets live for our next two Supper Clubs at our small holding in Wedmore : Saturday 4th July & Saturday 25th July.

Join us for a shared dining experience celebrating seasonal, local ingredients and set within the very place most of the ingredients are harvested - The Little Holding. We are based in the outskirts of Wedmore, exact location shared shortly after booking, so please make sure all contact details are correct upon booking.

You will be greeted with a complimentary welcome drink and a small walk around the vegetable garden before sitting down for a feast showcasing the freshest ingredients we have to offer.

Our July supper club tickets are now live on our site! We are so excited to invite you to our smallholding in Somerset on Saturday 4th July OR Saturday 25th July for a minimum of five courses inspired by what grows, thrives & blooms in July at The Little Holding. £70pp

What a weekend we had on the smallholding.

1. We have a new greenhouse and we can’t wait to finish the build. We basically built our vegetable garden around the idea of having one so after 5 years we’re very excited.

2. Our bees are very happy and after inspecting the hive we’ve put on the super 🍯🐝

3. Ryans been busy recipe testing which means we’ve been busy eating lots of food

4. Fermentations are back on the menu, all warm areas of the house were taken over by seedlings but now we have a greenhouse for them we have space to make some tasty kombucha and water kefir again

5. Our little beekeeper. When we moved to Somerset we knew we were lucky but seeing our kids getting to live a life full of nature really is the cherry on top.

6. More recipe testing to celebrate our Quail laying eggs again - this one was made all from produce from our garden 🎉

7. The beauty of a multigenerational household is you get to utilise everyone’s skills and we’re very lucky to have Graces mum creating lots of our crockery for our Supper Clubs
