THE FUNKY STORY

Ayesha and I started funky elephant after becoming disillusioned with the unhealthy levels of fats, salt and preservatives in Indian food traditionally available in most shops, restaurants and takeaways. Our love for Indian food drove us to find a way to cook it so that it tasted great and was healthier than any of the alternatives available. We shared our creations with family an

d friends. Our families and friends loved our marinades and before long Ayesha and I were making our marinades on a regular basis; and as the word spread the demand grew and the funky elephant company was born. Fantastic flavours hand made with quality, healthy ingredients - it is a match made in heaven. In 2012 the demand had grown to a point where the funky elephant company expanded the range to include stir in sauces. These products were met with such enthusiasm that in May 2013 Ayesha and I decided to make a selection of our funky elephant marinades and sauces available to the general public. Now funky elephant products are available for delivery to your home, along with new and exciting recipes - some of which you may be discovering for the first time.
