We do this by chatting to women doing amazing things for Leeds food community and writing about them in our blog. We also offer catering for events. All our food is vegetarian and made from scratch. ~ WHAT'S HAPPENING IN OCTOBER? Exciting times on the allotment right now as our baby apple tree gifted by Bryony May Carrigan sprouted its first apples!! 🍎 they are very tiny and cute and I've been eating chopped up with cubes of cheese
Not enough for catering lol but still have some from Meanwood Valley Urban Farm saved for slaw and flapjack!! 😋
Looking forward to kicking off the month with a catering job at the lovely Kirkstall Valley Farm for pathwaystoland 🤗 and meeting some more lovely folks to be featured in the blog!

~ WHAT'S HAPPENING IN SEPTEMBER?! 🍂
After a high energy summer I am soooo ready to get cosy for the Autumn with a new season of fruits and veggies to play with 😋
Kicking off the month with a retreat weekend in the Lakes with and . I've really loved planning this menu and can't wait to treat everyone!! 🧘‍♀️
You can also find me at Meanwood Community Centre on 19th Sept 12.30-2.30pm for the Meanwood Community Festival by and . Come say hello for PAYF veggie chilli and apple flapjack 🍏 as well as a whole load of stalls, traders and activities across Meanwood!!

Here's what we got up to last weekend catering a wedding for 80 people... We made a feast of sharers for guests to enjoy in 'family style' at a seriously stunning location near Ilkely! 🥳
Big congrats to J&T who planned an incredible day for their friends and fam! 🥰 loved to see working her magic with an amazing cake as well 🎂

In fact, one of today's lovely lunch guests said they enjoy my food because it offers something different to a 'boring beige buffet'.
Beige has it's place ofc, but I promise you'll always get a colourful, flavoursome spread from me 😉

WHAT'S HAPPENING IN JUNE? ~ 👋
I've been a little quiet on here lately, planning for the busy summer months! Swipe to see what's on my summer buffet menu, along with my 2 fave dishes (smokey corn salad and gooey chocolate courgette brownies) 🌽
From June, I'll be working on Food with View part-time as I'm starting a second job. But have no fear friends 😉 as you can order my food as usual...
*Catering is available from Thursday to Sunday. We've got cold buffets, heat at home packages for groups or bespoke menus for pop ups/retreats. Please email [email protected] to get booked in 🙏
*Freezer meals can be ordered via my online shop for Monday evening delivery 🤗 great for those busy weekday evenings, easing the mental load of meal planning, gifting loved ones or even taking camping!

IT'S CORN 🌽 ~ When the sun comes out, I think of corn! BBQ'd on the cob and dripping with butter...
The dish pictured is a nod to corn and tofu bowl (IYKYK).
It has flavours of lime, garlic, chilli and smoked tofu running through it. Loads of butter of course! Topped with a chipotle sauce using my Mum's (thanks Mama K!!) homemade chipotle paste. Crispy onions and fresh mint to finish 😋
Love this with fresh tortillas as a summery lunch bowl. Plus this will be making an appearance as a side dishes at some upcoming events 👀

*I love how each month brings something new... we're catering an 80th birthday bash and street party (that's a first!) as well as lots of menu testing for the busy summer months! 🎂
*You can order our freezer meals for delivery across Leeds on Monday evenings, including our Spring special Saag Halloumi or Tofu, alongside 5 regular dishes. Check out our shop link in the bio for more info 🙏 (little tip, they are great for camping meals now the weather is warmer!!)
