🔍 About the Role
We have never advertised for this position before since JWP Farming was established in 2014!
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a small team on a well invested spring calving unit at Whetstone Pastures Dairy. The herd of 360 cross bred Friesians calve in the Spring and rotationally paddock graze from early spring to late Autumn.

Your responsibilities would include:
✅ Leading and supporting team members
✅ Working with the owner to achieve top technical performance
✅ Managing the day to day running of the farm
✅ Youngstock care
✅ Grassland management
✅ AI & foot trimming (training provided if needed)

💡 Who We’re Looking For
We need a leader — someone passionate about people, cows and achieving results
✅ Attention to detail, with a proven track record
✅ Pride in your work
✅ A good communicator who is not afraid to get stuck in

This position may suit someone looking to take a step up in their dairying career or an established manager.
👉 Experience on a large scale dairy farm and seasonal calving (2+ years preferred)
👉 Foot trimming or AI skills? Great! But we’ll train the right person
