We’re counting down to the International Cheese and Dairy Awards 2026 where we’ll be showcasing our range of classic, contemporary, vat-made additive, and organic British cheeses, all proudly handcrafted with care and expertise.

Behind the scenes, our cheese room is buzzing as we prepare and dress our entries ready for judging next week.

Thanks to the Shropshire Barn Owl group for spotting 7 barn owls in one of our nesting boxes at Belton Farm.

It's wonderful to see that the barn owl population is thriving and that the farm is supporting biodiversity in the surrounding countryside🫶🌳

Today we welcomed the International Cheese and Dairy Awards and the Society of Dairy Technology team to Belton Farm.

This was an opportunity to come together and select the winner of the International Cheese and Dairy Student Award, which recognises young talent entering the industry.

The award will be presented to the winning recipient at the Society of Dairy Technology Annual Dinner, taking place on the evening of Wednesday 24 June.

We are very proud to support the Society of Dairy Technology in everything they do and value our long-standing relationship with the organisation.

Last September, our close friend and work colleague Alex Robinson sadly lost his battle with his mental health, leaving behind family and friends, who would have done everything in their powers to help and support him through this time.

Today we said goodbye to Jack Coyle who has been with Belton for 22 years working in the whey processing plant and milk reception. Jack has been such an important part of the team showing continuous commitment, work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile.

We can't thank Jack enough and we wish him every happiness and success in his next chapter.
