Dear All,

It may come as a surprise to many of you, and I do apologise for the short notice.

I am sorry to announce that this weekend will be the last weekend of trading for Dre's Caribbean Kitchen at South Quay Shed. I sincerely would like to thank absolutely everyone that has worked hard to make our kitchen such a fabulous place to work in, and for the support given by my wonderful fellow traders and colleagues at South Quay Shed. Alas, after a particularly challenging 2025 it is now time to take a rest.

We have loved every minute of cooking the food we are so very proud of; our amazing kitchen team has produced some of the best food we've ever cooked! We've also had a few good parties and such a great venue (thank you DJs). We do hope to be available for pop ups in your kitchen, festival, event or restaurant sometime in the future - we shall keep this webpage (and Insta!) open to keep you updated for the time being.

So this weekend we are open 12-4pm Friday, 12-5pm Saturday and 12-3pm on Sunday 15th February - then we close our doors. We hope to see you if you are around at some point over the weekend, even if it is just for a minute, to say farewell. You have been the most wonderful customers over the years and we're very appreciative of your support and loyalty. We love you ###

We're open to warm your heart in this cold and wet weather with our legendary soups, curries and patties. Brave it and come in or order delivery via Just Eat or Uber. Love Dre ❤️
