We have plenty on offer for the whole family so why not come pay us a visit. We look forward to welcoming you soon! The farm was originally planted in 1880 by Lord Sudeley. Although the name may suggest it was in some way connected to the Castle this was not the case. At this time Lord Sudeley also planted a further four fruit farms on the outskirts of Winchcombe although regrettably these have long since been removed. The land was originally planted with apples and cob nuts and in fact we still have some of the original cob nuts and one original Bramley tree left. This can be viewed from the Gillettes nature trail. Now, more than 100 years on, Hayles Fruit Farm continues to operate as a commercial venture. The Harrell family, who have been farming at Hailes since 1950 continue to farm 134 acres of mixed fruit. Traditionally the fruit was marketed through the local wholesale markets but as the business developed they were to become part of a co-operative organisation in order to market their fruit more effectively. This saw the introduction of selling to the supermarket chains. With the viability of growing English fruit very borderline our diversification programme was then born.

Breakfast, coffee and a little slice ☕️🍰

Whether you’re starting your morning with a delicious breakfast, popping in for a coffee and a slice of homemade cake, or stopping off after a countryside walk or cycle, our café is the perfect spot to settle in!

We serve freshly brewed Ritual Roasters coffee, delicious breakfasts and brunch, homemade cakes and plenty of sweet treats to enjoy in our cosy café or outside to enjoy the beautiful views across our orchards 🌳

Before you leave, have a little browse around our farm shop, filled with local produce and lovely things to take home. The perfect excuse for a slow morning in the countryside.

What breakfast and brunch looks like at Hayles in our Orchard Kitchen 🥞☕️😌

We’re really proud of the food coming out of our café. From a proper locally sourced ingredient Full English breakfast and fluffy pancake stacks to whipped yoghurts and fresh gooey eggs, there’s plenty to get you out of bed for this weekend!

Pair it with one of our fresh apple juices and range of coffees using Ritual Roasters beans, and while you’re here, don’t forget to have a wander around our orchards, explore the nature trails or pop into the farm shop before heading home.. 🌳

From our trees, to our bottles, to your family table 🍎

There’s something pretty special about knowing exactly where your food and drink comes from.. and our apple juice doesn’t travel far.

It all starts right here in the Hayles orchards, where rows and rows of different apple varieties stretch across the beautiful Cotswold countryside. They’re grown, picked and pressed right here before being turned into the juices and bottled which you’ll find in our Cotswolds café and farm shop.

We have our classic Cloudy Apple, alongside Raspberry Apple and Mango Apple which are all made using apples grown in our own orchards 🌳

Pop into the café for brunch this weekend and enjoy a cold glass while you’re here, then wander over to the farm shop and take a larger bottle home for the fridge. It really is the perfect tree-to-bottle produce, made right here at Hayles 🍏 We love being a place where families can come, slow down for a few hours, enjoy good local food and see a little more of where it all comes from..
