Rose Charity Estate is a specialist vineyard producing superior grapes via a unique viticulture approach combining modern cutting-edge hybrid vine development with pure hands-on vineyard management.

We aren’t going to harvest in 2026 because of the late frosts but Hampshire experienced in May this year. The issue was that most of the vines would have only been able to produce grapes from secondary buds as opposed to Primary ones. We therefore removed the flowers from most of the vines apart from a few pilot vines where we want to test the quality. Full harvest is 2027.

It has been an incredibly challenging period in terms of several light, but nonetheless harmful, frosts. Nonetheless, growth is now certainly there and we will evaluate the vines properly in the coming weeks. 🤞
