Vineyard volunteers
It’s now been nearly 6 years since we started our small vineyard just outside Winford and we’ve been helped by a group of over 100 volunteers in that time.
As the vineyard is now mature, we are looking to keep increasing our group of helpers in 2 ways:
1. We hold monthly volunteer working parties (on weekends) and are looking to add some more volunteers to our group - summer is a really busy time for us alongside other key events such as winter pruning and autumn harvesting. 2. PAID HOURS AVAILABLE - Through the busy summer period, we are also looking for someone to help with general agricultural/horticultural tasks, eg strimming, weeding around the vineyard on a paid basis for a few hours a week (day/times flexible). Last summer, we had a couple of students who did a day a week through their summer holidays and it was really helpful. We are still a bit away from releasing our wines (good things come to those who wait!), we hope to be able to announce the first release date towards the end of the summer, however, all helpers do get early access to wines once they become available!
