Due to the schedule change with Local to Ludlow being rightly cancelled; I am glad to say I am not baking today.

There will be some early morning baking going on tomorrow, and then it will hopefully be a little cooler on Friday.

Thinking of all my small business friends who run bakeries, coffee shops and tea rooms today. There is always the option of sticking your head in the freezer 🤣.

Seriously though, the UK is not set up for this extreme heat, and everyone working in hospitality is doing the best they can.

So, as Local to Ludlow Producers Market is cancelled on Thursday due to extreme heat being forecasted; my schedule has changed and I now only have Uttoxeter Town Hall Craft & Produce Market on Saturday.

You can find me inside Uttoxeter Town Hall, 9am-3pm.

It's set to be a little cooler on Friday and Saturday, so hopefully I won't have been mistaken for a puddle and been mopped up!

More updates on menu etc...later in the week.

This was Friday's lunch.

Cheese Scone, Ham, Cheese & Homemade Chutney...

Would this be classed as a Ploughman's Scone do you think?

Anyway, it was delicious and much needed after baking!

It's disappointing, but the best decision. Back in Ludlow on the 9th July.

CANCELLED This Thursday! Due to the extreme temperature forecast we've made the difficult decision to cancel the Local to Ludlow Producers' Market. This is in the interests of customer and stallholder safety. Sorry for any disappointment caused, we'll be back on Thursday July 9th.

Phew!

It's been a warm one today, but everything is ready and packed up for tomorrow at Cleobury Mortimer Farmers Market.

Couple of seasonal changes....

🍰 Fresh Cream Scones with homemade Pimms Jam are BACK!
🍰 Lemon Drizzle is also making an appearance 🍋
🍪 Packs of Oat & Raisin Cookes will also be on the stall.

🌱/🧀 DON'T FORGET, it's not all sweet...I also have vegan & vegetarian savouries (quiches, cheese scones & Spinach & Red Pepper Savouries) for those impromptu picnics or tea in the garden (or just a snack on the go!)
