Many of you know, or might remember that I offered a 3 layer cake as a raffle prize to help raise money for an evacuation vehicle to go to Ukraine 🇺🇦
Well, the raffle was drawn and the young winner wanted 'Birthday Cake'.
Now, Birthday Cake can be anything you want, but we plumped for this combination.
Three layers of Victoria Sponge with buttercream icing and strawberry jam filling. Topped with white icing and of course...Unicorn Sprinkles! 🦄🦄🦄
I'm told it was devoured by the family for breakfast 🤣
This prize helped to raise £422 on the raffle, and Steve and his friend Brian have just safely returned from their 10 day trip to Ukraine and back.
A total of over £8000 was raised by their family, friends, the punters and staff of The Starting Gate, the Combermere and Michael Kirks Butchers (to name a few). Well done to everyone involved. 👏👏👏
