Making cakes in this heat is not for the weak 🥵

This is a 3 layer blackforest cake with a white chocolate ganache coating, rather than buttercream, for extra stability in this heat! The filling is a vanilla buttercream and homemade cherry jam made with the cherries from our allotment 🍒

The oven isn't off just yet though, we still have plenty of baking left to do ready for the Bloxham Steam And Country Fair 🎡 this weekend! Find us in the food tent both Saturday & Sunday with lots of yummy bakes, our sourdough granola and homemade preserves.

(No restock in the hut this weekend due to the heat! Fingers crossed for a cooler week next week!)

Busy busy week! 🥰

It was a full on week last week with multiple custom orders, father's day treat boxes, the hut restock and finally this beauty of a celebration cake! This was a 3 layer lemon drizzle cake, filled with vanilla buttercream and lemon curd.

Forever grateful 🥹

A huge thank you to those who supported me at the weekend to not only sell out at the event, but at the hut too! As you may be aware, I said that I would be donating 10% of my sales to the Lawrence Nurses and I've done exactly that! Thanks to your support, I have been able to send a generous donation to them as a way of showing my gratitude for the care and support they provided to my grandad in his final weeks and days ❤️

Only a few spaces remaining so please message me ASAP to get booked in! 50% deposit is now required on booking.

Boxes will be ready to collect on Saturday 20th June at 10am!

The Hut is STOCKED and we are also at an event! 🤍

Today you will find us at Heart of the Shires Shopping Village for their food festival. Plenty going on, with brass bands, classic cars, independent retailers and LOTS of yummy food and drink.

Our honesty hut is loaded with 2 flavours of sourdough and 4 different bakes. Plus our honey and preserves!

Not only will you be supporting my small business today, but you will also be supporting an amazing charity- Lawrence Nurses: Hospice Care in your home 🤍

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who supported me at the Woodford Halse Music Festival 2026 yesterday! 🤍

Despite the awful weather, so many of you still came down to support this community event and to support my little business.

It was so nice to be able to meet lots of you in person and chat to you about your favourite bakes, and what you would like to see next in the hut!

Unfortunately we won't be selling again today at the festival, as you almost completely sold me out!! The few spares I do have will be advertised as treatboxes on my stories today, so be quick if you want some!

The hut will be back home and restocked again next Saturday! Don't forget, I also take custom orders for bakes, treat boxes, whole cookie pies and celebration cakes, so do get in touch if I can help. Hope to see you all again soon! 🍰
