What to drink with pizza?

Pizza night doesn’t always need a beer or Prosecco.

This time, try something a little different.

Orange Spritz Brut is light, sparkling and easy to drink. It has a fresh orange flavour that goes really well with pizza.

We recommend it with Prosciutto, Burrata & Rocket Pizza.

The bubbles keep every bite feeling light, while the fresh orange flavour works beautifully with the creamy burrata and salty prosciutto.

It’s one of those combinations that makes you want another slice… and another sip.

Simple food.

Great wine.

That’s what good pairing is all about.

Have you ever tried sparkling wine with pizza?

Why we chose it as our Wine of the Week?

We chose this wine because it is a little different from the usual red wine.

It is light, fruity and gently sparkling, so it is very easy to drink. It is also served chilled, which makes it a great choice for warmer days or for anyone who does not enjoy heavy red wines.

It goes really well with everyday food such as pizza, pasta, burgers, cured meats and cheese.

It is also organic, which makes it a good choice for customers looking for wines made with more care for the environment.

A fresh, fun and easy wine to enjoy with friends.

ALTICCIO PAIRING GUIDE!

What to drink with Ready Salted Crisps?

Ready Salted Crisps might not be the first thing you think of when opening a bottle of wine.

But paired with mature Cheddar and a glass of Lautarul Pinot Noir, they create a combination that’s simple, affordable and genuinely delicious.

You’ll need:

* Ready Salted Crisps
* Mature Cheddar
* Lautarul Pinot Noir

How to enjoy it?

Cut a slice of mature Cheddar.

Place one Ready Salted crisp on top.

Take one bite.

Then take a sip of the wine.

That’s all.

Why it works?

The salt from the crisps brings out the fresh fruit flavours in the Pinot Noir.

The mature Cheddar softens the wine and gives it a smoother finish.

Together, they create a balanced bite where every flavour has its place.

What you’ll taste?

• Brighter red fruit in the wine

• A creamier, richer Cheddar

• A crisp, savoury finish that makes you want another bite

Sommelier’s Tip:

This pairing works best with Ready Salted Crisps.

Strongly flavoured crisps, such as barbecue or cheese & onion, can easily overpower a light Pinot Noir.

Sometimes, the simplest choice gives the best result.

Looking for a beautiful pale rosé?

Avondale Camissa 2025 is an elegant, pale organic rosé from Paarl, South Africa, made from Grenache, Muscat de Frontignan and Mourvèdre.

Delicate in colour but full of character, it offers aromas of rose petals, fresh red berries, Turkish delight and lemon zest. The palate is smooth, fresh and softly textured, with a clean, completely dry finish.

The grapes come from certified organic vineyards, and the wine is naturally fermented with wild yeasts using a minimal-intervention approach.

Serve chilled at around 9–11°C and enjoy with seafood, grilled salmon, goat’s cheese, charcuterie or lightly spiced Asian dishes.

Pale, elegant and beautifully balanced a rosé made for relaxed afternoons, good food and great company.
