Bridge Farm Produce

Bridge Farm Produce We are a smallholding in Rangeworthy producing grass fed beef boxes and lamb boxes from our herd of Red Ruby Devon and Hereford Cattle and Suffolk Sheep.

Join the herd on instagram. Welcome to our smallholding page!

Our smallholding is looked after by myself my partner Rich and hopefully our twin girls when they are old enough! We are also supported by our own family members and farming friends when we need extra help, especially during busy times like hay making and when we need an extra pair of hands with de-horning and T

B testing. Currently - we have a small flock of Suffolk Sheep and we rear a small suckler herd of Red Ruby Devon’s for beef boxes, available at different times of year. They are slow grown and grass fed to allow a longer and happy life.

We use a small local abattoir and a butcher friend to slaughter and butcher our animals which enables us to support other small businesses and keep control of how we pack our beef boxes giving our customers the best product. We also keep laying hens for eggs, which are available year round on the gate.

When we are not busy with the livestock, we have a productive vegetable garden. We try and grow something new each year! Any surplus from our garden is offered for sale on the gate.

We also make our own hay and haylage using our sometimes ‘vintage’ equipment to feed our animals through the winter months. In the future - we hope to have Suffolk Lamb, Oxford Sandy and Black Pork and Duck eggs for sale.

We hope you enjoy following our farming journey, it’s still early days for us!
5 years ago the first lambs and yearling cattle arrived with us - none of us are from farming backgrounds but it just shows what passion and support can get you.

A couple of hours after we said goodbye to Murphy, my most favourite cow Scarlett calved a heifer calf. She’s a Devon X Hereford (our first) as I ran out of Devon semen straws.
Scarlett calved 6 days early and this is Scarlett’s fifth heifer and we shall call her Beryl. 🩷
