We are all set to open our doors and give Bristol a taste of authentic South Indian cuisine, one tale at a time. We present to you our authentic biryanis from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Our Hyderabadi dum biryani is a very fragrant, mild, and flavorsome combination of basmati rice layered with juicy chicken, brown onions, mint, and coriander.
Our signature fry-piece biryani is full of flavor with a nice punch of spice from pan-fried chicken. The basmati rice is slowly cooked on dum in a flavorsome chicken stock.
One of the most local and regional dishes on the menu is the Gongura prawn biryani. It features mildly spiced king prawns cooked with home-ground spices and gongura (sorrel leaves), which gives it a distinct umami and tangy taste. It will definitely leave you craving more, and it is served with fragrant basmati rice pulao.
