So many apple flavoured items in the NT shops 🍎🍏🍎

You could make chocolate and toffee apple scones and have the apple curd with it ❤️

I recently noticed the passports you can get at the gift shops (I think there's a dog one, too).

Wouldn't a National Trust scone passport be amazing?

We'd have so many stamps 🤣

Good morning scone fans!

It's pretty chilly today 🥶 definitely feels like autumn now! 🥰

Have you tried the apple crumble scone of the month? But not only that, have you tried the biscuits and fudge? 🍏🍎🤯

Saw these yesterday in the NT gift shop at Beningbrough - National Trust

I've finally had the apple crumble scone! And it was WARM! 🍏🍎

I'm already a big crumble fan (my profile picture is an apple crumble scone, after all), so my views could be biased. 🤔

Let's talk about the apple crumble scone:

There were lovely bits of apple in the scone, and the crumble on top had hints of cinnamon in it. I'm a big fan of cinnamon!

Let's talk about the custard:

Custard always makes things better; there was none left by the end of it. It was very easy to spread and had a nice vanilla taste.

Let's talk about the apple compote:

The apple compote was not too sweet or sharp. Maybe there could have been a tiny bit more in my pot, but I'm a greedy pig. 🤭

I ate the crumble top last because, obviously, that's the best bit. 😋

What are your thoughts? 🍎🍏
