It was a while back, when we were kindly gifted this old heirloom Honda generator, which used to provide one of our families in Tbilisi with electricity back in the 1990’s and the early 2000’s.

The generator required some care, as it hasn’t been used in a while. So we’ve decided to take it to a car garage for cleanup, checkup and oil change. It’s ready for use now, except… we don’t have a cord that would connect the generator’s out to the household’s in.

So far looking for the necessary cord type in various hardware stores in Georgia (and even Armenia) didn’t bring any luck.

We’ll try to look on Eliava this coming weekend, as a last resort…

Endless learning from professionals, colleagues, friends…

Some photogenic highlights from a recent visit to a family production called Are Wines - located in Areni village, in Vayots Dzor province of Armenia.

It was a very special feeling: discussing winemaking techniques and tasting the wines together with the winemakers simultaneously using English, Russian, French and Armenian languages.

Lovely visit all in all. Hopefully, more to come!

Farm to table: salsa verde fresca from our very own tomatillos, peppers and onions.

Add a bit of cilantro, salt, lemon juice (lime juice was unavailable at the time), find your favourite corn chips and voila!
