Here are a few photos to give you an idea of some of the items available at this weekend's silent auction at Cured Deli, together with some of our stock items available at a 30% discount!

Stock items include, but are not limited to: cookware, glassware, cutlery, crockery, illy coffee, fondue pots, espresso sets, locally made jams, jellies and chutneys, goose fat, bottles of Jus Zero, take-away cups, napkins, Monin coffee syrups, filter coffee, teapots and ramekins.

Auction items include, but are not limited to: dining tables (including our beautiful eight foot table in our ground floor window), dining chairs, armchairs, sofas, coffee tables, tulip chairs (as pictured), drinks refrigerator, deli counter/display unit/refrigerator, professional coffee machine, coffee dispenser, filter coffee machine, oven, storage refrigerators and freezers, sinks, industrial dishwasher, professional electric meat slicer, scales and cash register and 42" LCD television.

There's plenty up for grabs so come along and have a look this weekend.

HIGH QUALITY FURNITURE AND CATERING EQUIPMENT - SILENT AUCTION!

Due to closing, Cured will be opening its doors on Friday 18th April from 11am to 4pm and Saturday 19th April from 10am to 2pm in order to hold a silent auction of all our high quality furniture and catering equipment.

Come along and view our items, and if there's something you like, leave your bid in the pot and we'll contact the highest bidders on Saturday by 3pm. All items purchased must be collected by the buyer either on Saturday afternoon or between 10am and 12pm on Monday 21st April. Alternative arrangements may be possible if required upon request.

Further more, all remaining stock will be available to purchase at a discounted rate of 30%!

Fancy some free food? Of course you do! Cured, in conjunction with Island FM, are running the Cured Deli Workplace Shout competition until the end of April in which you can enter to win the Cured Experience for your workplace!

All you have to do is click on the link below and e-mail Island FM to nominate your workplace (or maybe even someone else's) for free grub!

Winners are announced on Island FM fortnightly on Wednesdays, with the next draw to take place on 5th March - plenty of time to get your entries in!

Cured Cheese Appreciation Night!

Venue: Cured Deli, 14 Commercial Arcade

Price per person: £20

An event solely dedicated to all things cheese - what could be better?! This will be a monthly event (but if there's a lot of interest, we'll happily hold a few more).

So, here's the idea: you'll get to munch on three different cheeses that are currently sold in our deli (most likely one soft, one hard and one blue) and we'll introduce a guest cheese which, depending on your reaction, may start to feature on our menu.

In the first hour, Cured owner, Nicola, will talk you through each cheese and match them with a suitable chutney, jelly or antipasti and provide breads, crackers or melba toasts to compliment them. You'll also receive a glass of tasty Jus-Zero, a non-alcoholic sparkling grape juice.

For the second hour, we'll leave you to socialise, eat cheese and discuss your favourites!

Due to space, numbers are limited to 12 per event, so make sure you secure your place by e-mailing our events manager, Lou Le Page, at [email protected].

We do not currently sell alcohol but please feel free to bring your own - we don't charge for corkage! Other hot and cold drinks will be available from the deli counter at an additional cost.

Well, would you just look at how gorgeous these espresso cups are?! These babies are the latest artistic collaboration for the illy brand's Art Cups, featuring the designs of Italian painter Francesco Clemente.

The illy brand commissions one or two artists per year to create a new design for their cups and prints a limited number for sale. Luckily, we have a full set in a beautiful gift box, complete with certificate of authenticity.

At the price of £120 (normally £140) this would make a fabulous gift for any coffee fanatic that would surely be greatly received.

Commercial space available for rent above Cured in the commercial arcade.

Our beautiful second floor is now available and we're looking for lovely new tenants!

The room is a unique space with a stunning, original antique fireplace, alcove shelving, painted wooden floors and there's even a chalkboard wall for those all important brainstorming sessions/motivational quotes!

As an added bonus, the floor above can be used for storage (included in the rent) and our lounge is always available if you need a break from the daily grind.

Washroom facilities are available on the same floor and are shared with the deli.

What could be better than working above the scent of fresh coffee and having readily available food all day? That's right - nothing.

Hot chocolate with a difference? No problem - pop in for some of local chocolatier Ben Le Prevost's hot chocolate with raspberry. We can promise that it's absolutely incredible, but we can't promise there'll be much left when you get here...
