Joel Antanah, a trained electrical engineer, But my upbringing and passion for agriculture moved me to become a full-time farmer.
Growing up, i saw how my father, a farmer, worked tirelessly to cultivate the land and rear livestock to provide for the family seven of us to university.
This among others sparked my interest in farming, and i eventually decided to pursue it as a carrier.
Achievements.
As a benefit of my hard work and innovative methods, I've received several awards and grants. During the 2020 Farmer's Day celebration, I won the Western Regional Best Fish Farmer award. And In 2022, I won the Western Regional Best Livestock Farmer award, which further solidify my reputation as a dedicated farmer.
Grants and Recognition
In addition to these awards, I've also received grants from reputable organizations. In 2020, I won a grant from SNV Ghana, which helped me scale my agricultural business. In 2024, I received another grant from the Ghana Climate Innovation Center (GCIC), enabling me to develop sustainable and climate-resilient farming.
I'm proud of my journey as a farmer and the awards I've received. And I'm committed to continuing to innovate and excel in the agricultural sector, making a positive impact on my community and beyond.
