Vinosophy was founded in January 2022, just as the fifth and most brutal covid wave hit Hong Kong. Some might say that it was a strange time to start a wine business, but we believe that there is opportunity in adversity. We are proud to call Hong Kong, one of the most vibrant markets in the world, our home and we are committed to the region long term. Our vision is simple: to be a true Ambassador

for our producers and friends and to provide our clients with the best service possible. Authenticity is at the core of everything we do. We represent a new generation of dynamic wine growers who are independent and family-owned. Their work in the vineyard is meticulous, precise and sustainable and their approach to winemaking is minimalistic. We share the philosophy that great wines are made of great grapes. We are delighted to work with wine lovers who share our values and passion for discovering the latest rising stars. Our clients include the best restaurants, private members’ clubs and retailers as well as individuals and private collectors. Our team is agile, knowledgeable, and efficient. Vinosophy was created by Pierre Legrandois with the expertise of three female collaborators. In addition to wine, we have proudly partnered with some of the finest artisans in the luxury world to create a range of bespoke wine and cigar accessories, available exclusively to our clients.

An absolute pleasure and privilege to welcome Jean-Pierre & Isabelle Guyon to Hong Kong for their very first visit! Over the course of an intense three days, we experienced unforgettable moments, highlighted by a collaborative dinner with the legendary .insideburgundy

Jean-Pierre Guyon’s wines are a true reflection of purity and precision, showcasing the incredible hard work put into their vineyards. If you haven't yet had the chance to taste one, we highly recommend the new 2023 vintage of “Mes Nuages.”

This cuvée is crafted using the innovative “en nuage” sorting technique, highlighting the meticulous process of cutting the bunch on the sorting table. The grapes, selected from various plots of Grand Cru, Premier Cru, and village appellations, come together to form a stunning wine that while not tied to a specific appellation, embodies the signature techniques of the domaine.

With the “tri en nuages” (cloud sorting) technique, whole clusters are carefully cut by hand, removing the central stems while retaining the pedicels that hold each individual grape. The result is an ethereal perfume that elevates the wine to new heights of epicurean joy.

In 2023, Jean-Pierre vinified all his wines using the “tri en nuages” (cloud sorting) technique. This commitment yields strikingly perfumed, sumptuous wines that delight with a deep scent of roses.

The élevage process involves 100% new oak from Tonnellerie Rousseau for one year, followed by an additional year in sandstone, which adds another layer of complexity and elegance.

The outcome? A delicate perfume that reaches new levels of hedonistic pleasure. The refinement of these wines is undoubtedly anchored in the exceptional destemming process.

About the Domaine:
Run by brothers Guillaume and Olivier, Domaine Boigey-Frères is rooted in Vosne-Romanée tradition, with a family history among the region’s oldest. Officially established in 2018, the estate now spans 3.15 hectares across 6 appellations — including the prized Aux Jachées, just behind Bizot’s vines.
Farming is done with deep respect for nature, precision, and restraint. No stems, gentle macerations, native yeasts, and a balanced élevage — craftsmanship at its finest.

It was an absolute pleasure meeting Paul Krug in Hong Kong. It's clear that Domaine de la Commaraine is truly in exceptional hands.

Back in 2006, I had the honor of launching the Krug Room at the Mandarin Oriental HK with Paul's father, Olivier Krug. Like father, like son - Paul exudes the same grace and sophistication that defines Domaine de La Commaraine.

Stay tuned for more news about the domaine, including the grand opening of their luxury boutique hotel in 2025.
