curious bites and sips with
this was a special project in the past two months. at the beginning of the year, we were presented with the challenge to curate a canapés and drinks menu with beanless coffee from , .sg sustainable cocoa extender, and local hydroponic microgreens from . we didn’t think twice to say yes because of the potential meaning and impact behind this work. it is an honour to be trusted to showcase the products and ingredients from all these companies devoted to make food with less.
the event finally took place at a beautiful space in .hk last week, and the turnout certainly exceeded our expectations. the word community is perhaps overused these days, but that evening we felt a genuine sense of energy and connection amongst the attendees. people paid to come, from vegan chefs to dieticians and corporate sustainability managers; and so many of them took time to dive into the what, how, and why behind our curations. it’s comforting to feel true care and desire for a different mode of consumption all for a better future.
