Anayón, the w**ery’s premium collection, is born from an obsessive attention to detail in the selection of vineyards – each one unique in its soils, climate, altitude, vine health and the age of its varieties. Perfectly balanced vines with naturally low yields and remarkable concentration give them, only in exceptional vintages, a limited production, a strict barrel selection and individually numbered bottles: w**es crafted to capture the ultimate expression of the Cariñena region.
Centuries of w**emaking expertise came together in 1932 with the award of Denomination of Origin status, making it, together with a few others, one of the oldest to be officially recognised in Spain. In 1947, the finest Garnachas from Cariñena were first bottled for international markets and, at the beginning of this 21st century, in 2001, Anayón unveiled a new brand design, the forerunner of the one used today.
