1996/1997/2001/2003 with our drinking sequence of 2003-> 1997 -> 2001 -> 1996
Surprisingly a friend love 2003 (to be fair probably the best 03 amongst the peers ) the most while me and wine owner especially dig 2001/1996 where 96 is just majestic ! Smoke leather dry roses so pronounce and lifted just a sublime beast. While 2001 is so all rounded soft with impeccable balance . More floral having a lighter feel to it yet intense, almost dreamy .

How can this not be the best dry Riesling and one of most delish white on earth ? 。。

Another fun blind tasting night with the Hk wine industry friends : American theme tonight 🇺🇸
Illumination 2022 only took form after 4 hours into the night. Fresh vibrant green bites of apple and pomelo at first then gain weight with waxy honey blossom notes. Wonderful

Going back to 1961 … this wine is just fab still! Besides las cases, love Latour the best in 61 —> Lafite is something too yet Margaux kind of shy away a bit from my experience ; besides taste , it’s the moments in time that matters
