This year the winter in Shiga is very cold 🥶 the sake brewed in very low temperature creating extra delicate taste.

The local Japanese sake “Taiko” from the Nagahama area in North Oumi, nurtured by rich history and nature, is crafted using pure water sourced from Mount Ibuki, which is recognized as one of the top 100 selected waters. This sake is made with carefully selected brewing rice and has been meticulously brewed into a Junmai Daiginjo. It is aged in ice-cold storage, resulting in a product that features a harmonious blend of floral aromas and rich flavors. It is best enjoyed chilled.
