This hidden Italian restaurant is nestled underneath London's Leadenhall Market😲

Tucked beneath the Victorian arches of this centuries-old marketplace, Giorgio Ristorante Italiano is a hidden Italian gem in every sense.

Descend the stairs and you’re suddenly in a charming homage to an old-school Italian dining room, complete with crisp white tablecloths, studded leather chairs and vintage artwork.

The team makes all its pasta daily on-site, from classics like spinach and ricotta ravioli, to luxurious plates such as black ink spaghetti with tiger prawns in a white wine sauce.

Not every restaurant in London needs to rewrite the rulebook, and Giorgio’s foolproof formula of simple food, generous hospitality and just enough showmanship to make any meal here feel special, is a testament to that.
