On Global Champagne Day today 25 October, we’re going deep with our Champagne icon, !

There’s no better way of expressing the depth, intensity and elegance of their premium Champagnes than through its enchanting cellar thirty meters underground, where bubbles become their best selves! We love the creative way they’re exploring this connection.

The house sought out Italian-Canadian-Serbian photographer to capture the link between the house’s Champagnes and the chalk chambers where they age. He spent five days underground to capture the perfect images of their emblematic cuvées! That includes one of our favourite wines: Blanc de Blancs, and it’s got a new look! All dressed up in white and gold, the label gives a wink to its signature white grape: Chardonnay. Blanc de Blancs is fresh and vibrant, deep and generous, complex and delicate. It’s a bold, elegant and atypical wine, loved by both experts and those who simply appreciate the finer things in life! Andric’s photo captures the freshness and lavish minerality in the sheen cast over the millennia-old, blazingly white chalk walls, creating a complex texture that reflects the cuvée’s multiplicity.

brought us to the heart of West Sussex, England to attend their Harvest Luncheon and experience last week.
 
Day One, prior to the Nyetimber reception and scrumptious celebratory welcome dinner at , the programme kicked off with a masterclass and amazing tasting of Nyetimber prestige cuvées. The lineup demonstrated their ageing potential and every bottle was impressive.

Day Two was filled with beautifully organised and executed harvest events at the Nyetimber Estate. Vineyard walk, grape picking and a good chat with winemaker . It was fantastic to soak in the energetic atmosphere and witness the well-coordinated procedures and high standards of the team at the winery during harvest time. By lunchtime, everyone had worked up an appetite and ready for the harvest feast in their Medieval Barn. The lunch was hosted by Eric and Hannah Heerema, every dish was perfectly paired with a Nyetimber cuvée.
