We are excited to share that the GuWei Museum Choir will be established in October 2026. This initiative provides young learners with the opportunity to engage in Music Theory, develop Singing Techniques, and cultivate Teamwork Skills.

We are pleased to offer a free trial session on Friday, September 11th, at 5 PM. We invite you to sign up and experience the transformative power of Music.

A clothing swop for the little ones (and the parents who love a good clear-out) from 0 to 6 years. Bring along outgrown clothes, find new favourites.

Please bring your kids clothes, accessories duly washed or toys and swop with other ones.

本作創作靈感源自畫家童年作文《三個願望》，並結合敦煌石窟中的「如意輪」意象。畫作以紫色為主色調，呈現藝術家透過繪畫進行自我探索與創作轉化的過程。

【敦煌畫展倒數9天】畫家張浩然 15 米長卷作品《如相》

本作長達 15 米（尺寸：1580cm x 72cm），參照《千里江山圖》的結構形式，融合了中國、印度、希臘與波斯等敦煌文化元素。作品展示光暗、天地、塵世形成至升華等階段，呈現和諧的精神圖景。

本作取材自莫高窟 220 窟初唐「手奉香飯的化菩薩」。作品融入敦煌飛天與藻井等石窟圖像，並以「緣」這一佛教核心概念為主題，透過由點至線的構圖，呈現萬物相連的哲學思考。

本作臨摹自敦煌莫高窟元代《千手千眼觀音經變》（北壁）。畫家將石窟中的佛像光環與背景圖案進行拆解，運用點與幾何線條重新構圖。畫面以點構成線，呈現出傳統壁畫元素的當代轉化。

古魏博物館非常高興於8月18日迎接香港資優教育學苑(HKAGE)的師生及家長們。
是次參觀包括常設展覽、馬年特展及敦煌藻井主題工作坊。常設展覽闡釋陶瓷器具的源流發展及色彩設計，並設有多個主題展示。馬年特展以詩詞及神話故事為引子，帶出駿馬奔騰活潑、護主戰鬥及作伴旅行等的中外共同特性。工作坊則於本館的古魏閱覽室進行，介紹敦煌藻井及飛天的圖案特徵，引導學生發揮創意力，臨摹其色彩，沉浸於豐富的敦煌藝術之中。
在整個活動中，我們看到學生對活動的專注及對知識的渴求。這一場中外文化之旅，我們十分期待下次活動再見到大家!

The GuWei Museum was delighted to welcome teachers, students, and parents from the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education (HKAGE) on August 18th.
The visit included our permanent exhibition, the horse exhibition, and a Dunhuang Caisson Ceiling workshop. The Permanent Exhibition highlighted the origin, development, and colour design of ceramics and porcelain. The Horse Exhibition used poetry and myths to showcase shared Eastern and Western views of horses—their vitality, loyalty in battle, and companionship. Held in the GuWei Library Lounge, the workshop introduced Dunhuang's caisson ceilings and apsaras, allowing students to express their creativity by recreating these vibrant colours.
We were deeply impressed by the students' focus and enthusiasm. This cultural journey leaves us warmly anticipating our next event together!
